FAMILY & HISTORY
I began working in the trade at age 18 for a small father & son business installing all types of tile and natural stone within historic homes of the architecturally significant Summit Avenue area in St. Paul, MN. It was there where I learned a one-of-a-kind work ethic and a very detail-oriented approach to intricate and complex tile design. I loved the consistent and creative challenges that came along with working on early 1900 homes and was able to strengthen a unique skill set because of it. I then began taking on side jobs and bringing my deep appreciation for the details to every project. As with any work that brings you joy, business naturally began to grow from there by word of mouth. In 2007, Bold Tile was born and I never looked back. This is a family business, and family is everything.
